WADA announces deal with Japanese drug firm

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has signed an agreement with Japanese drug company Astellas Pharma Inc., prostate in an attempt to tackle doping in sport.
Astellas is to identify compounds that it produces, allergy including those in development, sample viagra which may be abused by athletes.
“WADA is encouraged to be partnering with Astellas on the prevention of misuse and abuse of medicines for doping in sports,” said WADA president and iSportconnect member, Sir Craig Reedie.
“This partnership acknowledges that the impacts of doping extend well beyond elite athletes to include society on the whole,” he added.
WADA had also teamed up with British drug company GlaxoSmithKline ahead of the London Olympics in 2012.
