Volvo Expands New South Wales Waratahs Partnership to Become Principal Sponsor

Volvo has revealed today it has become the Principal Sponsor of the New South Wales Waratahs, dosage sale expanding their partnership from next season.

After being the sleeve sponsor of the HSBC Waratahs for the past two years, cheap from 2014 Volvo will assume prime position on the front of the famous NSW Waratahs sky blue jersey, following the conclusion of the team’s 12-year relationship with HSBC.

Managing Director of Volvo Car Australia, Matt Braid, commented on the deal:  “Volvo has been involved in rugby for a number of years now, from grass roots to Super Rugby level, and our partnership with the NSW Waratahs over the past few seasons has proved extremely beneficial for both parties.

“As a result, we’re looking forward to working collaboratively with the Tahs in the future to showcase the Volvo performance models and the rest of our award-winning range.”

Waratahs Rugby CEO Jason Allen added: “We are absolutely thrilled with their decision. Not only have we retained one of our most proactive, innovative and supportive partners but we have extended that relationship, and that’s one of the best endorsements for our brand and for all the hard work that everyone here at Waratahs Rugby has put in over the past 12 months.

“It’s also great news for our members and fans, who will benefit from Volvo’s continued commitment to providing a range of attractive benefits as part of their support of NSW rugby at all levels.”

The contract expansion will take effect next season, when Volvo will officially become Principal Sponsor of the NSW Waratahs for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.  The automobile manufacturer will also continue its relationship as official partner of the NSW Rugby Union.

The coming months will also see Waratahs Rugby welcome a number of other official partners, as Allen explains.
