Volkswagen Announced as Main Sponsor of TSV 1860 Munchen

Volkswagen has become the new Main Sponsor of 2. Bundesliga side TSV 1860 Munchen and will see their motto ‘Think Blue’ on the shirts of the team.
Think Blue matches the team colour of the blues and in addition to shirt advertising, cough the deal will include numerous advertising and marketing rights.
Thomas Zahn, herbal Head of Marketing and Sales Germany, medicine Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said: “1860 München is of interest to us in many ways: As a traditional club, with loyal, passionate supporters and a good sportive perspective.
“As well as with its venue, being one of the best stadiums in the world and its location in the city of Munich.
“This makes the partnership for Volkswagen a well-rounded commitment and at the same time positions us very prominently in the attractive 2. Bundesliga.”
1860 Munchen kick off their new campaign on Friday evening against FC St. Pauli and have played in Germany’s second-tier of football since 2004.
Robert Schäfer, Managing Director of TSV 1860 München, commented: “We are proud that with Volkswagen, we could gain an outstanding partner as the Main Sponsor and that we were able to convince them of our way.
“This is a huge opportunity for 1860 München. We are happy that the team’s jersey now represents the way that Lions fans live.”
