Vodafone to Sponsor Badminton League

Global telecommunications company Vodafone has signed on as the title sponsor of the Premier Badminton League, which takes place in India.

Vodafone will sponsor the 2017 event, which finishes on January 14. The Premier Badminton League is the sport’s most lucrative competition worldwide, with prize money totalling around $850,000. The event will feature six teams from across India.

Vosafone replaces Pay-television broadcaster Star Sports as the titular sponsor of the event.
