Vision Express Extends Away Kit Sponsorship of Notts County

July 21, 2012

Nottingham based company Vision Express have agreed to sponsor Notts County new away and third kit shirts for the 2012/2013 season.

It will be Vision Express’ third year as away shirt sponsor, arthritis previously striking a deal in the summer of 2010 to have their logo on the front of the jersey.

Players and staff have visited local branches of one of Europe’s largest optical retailer throughout the past two years and supporters have also had free eye-tests and special offers through the club’s official matchday programme.

Vision Express have also become a gold partner for the 150 year anniversary as the Magpies celebrate the landmark in 2012.

Notts County Chairman Ray Trew said: “We are all delighted to continue to have the support of such a national and international company such as Vision Express again as our away kit sponsor for such an important year in the football club’s long history.

“I am sure the shirts will prove to be a huge hit with our fan base, both in England and in Italy, with the third kit striking a resemblance to our friends from Juventus.

“The board also felt it was appropriate to have the new away shirt in the famous orange and black hoops, the colours we originally wore back in 1867.”

Strategy Director of Vision Express Brian Linnington added:  “As a business, with our head office in Nottingham, we are delighted to support the oldest football league club in the world as they celebrate there 150 anniversary.”
