Everyone at the football club is incredibly excited to work alongside such a global brand and pioneer in its industry and I think it is a testament to the ambitions and growth of Huddersfield Town that Virgin Atlantic has come on board with us.”
He continued: “Promotion to the Championship will increase our television viewership across the globe and that, combined with the innovative work we are undertaking off the pitch, makes us a very attractive proposition.”
Virgin Atlantic, founded in 1984 by Richard Branson, has since become one of the world’s most established airlines.
James Rowan, North of England Sales Executive for Virgin Atlantic commented: “Virgin Atlantic Airways is delighted to be in partnership with Huddersfield Town. This partnership will help us explore the opportunity to reach out to not only people associated and linked to HTAFC, but to a whole new audience of business and leisure travellers through the links associated with the Club.
“I am sure that this partnership will be one that benefits both parties both in the short term, but also looking further in to the future.”
