Virgin Active Named Official Health Club of British Tennis

Virgin Active, the UK’s leading health club operator has secured a partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to become the Official Health Club of British Tennis, in a three year agreement.

Virgin Active is introducing a number of LTA tennis products, which will be available to all racquet members, including Mini Tennis, a programme for 3 -10 year olds and Cardio Tennis, an up-tempo group fitness class that takes place on a court.

Virgin Active is looking to make Tennis accessible and is investing heavily into the sport, including over £1million into 81 new courts.

The agreement follows Virgin Active announcing British tennis star Laura Robson and former British number one player Andrew Castle as tennis ambassadors for its inclusive and unmatched tennis offering, across a portfolio of 21 Health and Racquet clubs.
