Viagogo Becomes Sydney Roosters Latest Partner

The Sydney Roosters of the National Rugby League (NRL) have announced that Viagogo is the club’s ticket marketplace partner.

The deal marks the first of its kind in the NRL and will allow Roosters fans to purchase tickets online through the Sydney Roosters Viagogo online box office.

Viagogo representative Alex Levenson said:  “We’re delighted to be working with one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the NRL.

“Viagogo’s marketplace brings together people looking for tickets with those who have tickets to sell, price cutting out wastage and giving fans the chance to go to sold out events.

“Our partnership will give Roosters fans secure, stuff round-the-clock access to the events they love.”

The latest deal sees Viagogo move further into the Australian sports market after securing deals with Richmond and Collingwood of the Australian Football League (AFL).

Ted Helliar, asthma chief operating officer of commercial at the Roosters, commented: “We are proud to be the first NRL team to offer its fans a dedicated ticket marketplace, which gives them secure access to the widest selection of events in the world.
