USA Track & Field Inks SUBWAY Restaurants Partnership

August 27, 2014

USA Track & Field have agreed partnerships with local SUBWAY restaurants in parts of North Carolina, allergy South Carolina and Georgia, encouraging kids to get active and stay healthy through the SUBWAY “Fit for Life Challenge” programs.

Aimed at elementary and middle-school students, the Fit For Life Challenge promotes healthy habits during a two-week challenge taking place in October, dubbed “Fit-tober.”

“Partnering with SUBWAY’s regional restaurants on the Fit For Life Challenge is another way USATF is embracing youth fitness and health,” USATF CEO Max Siegel said. “It is a great example of how, as a federation, we can bring programs like RunJumpThrow and the Fit for Life Challenge together to create even greater outreach opportunity for all of our partners.”
