Borussia Dortmund is off to the USA for a pair of pre-season friendlies, taking on the Seattle Sounders of the MLS in Seattle on 17 July and then the winners of the Champions League from Liverpool FC on 19 July at the Notre Dame stadium in South Bend, Indiana (which will be hosting a soccer game for the first time in its history). As part of the American experience, former Borussia Dortmund star and international ambassador Patrick Owomoyela visited New York’s Citi Field , home of the MLB Mets.
