Top Flight Spanish Basketball to be Broadcast by Russia’s NTV Plus

Spain’s top flight basketball competition, view Liga Endesa will be broadcast by NTV Plus after the Russian digital satellite broadcaster acquired the rights package.

The deal includes rights to this season’s Liga ACB play-offs and all competitions during the 2013-14 season.

ACB CEO Albert Agustí said: “We are going to add the last of all the big territories we aimed of reaching when we started with our International Expansion plan back in 2006. Seven years after, medicine Liga Endesa is present all around the World.

“The broadcaster partnership is always important and with NTV Plus we are getting great exposure along with a great partner.”

This deal now means that Liga Endesa reaches 101 countries with a potential audience of 140 million.

NTV Plus will provide coverage of two Liga ACB games a week as well as Liga Endsea Magazine, the weekly magazine show.
