Tom Watson to Endorse Transamerica

Eight-time Major Golf champion Tom Watson has agreed to be the ambassador for financial services company, medstore Transamerica.

A six-time PGA Tour Player of the Year with 39 Tour victories, vialis 40mg Watson is a five-time British Openchampion, two-time Masters champion, and won the U.S. Open in 1982. He led the Tour Money List five times, was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1988, and has added another 14 titles – six majors – on the Champions Tour.

Known for his tenacious competitive spirit and remarkable success on links-style courses, Watson became the oldest player to lead aPGA Tour major after 54 holes in the memorable 2009 British Open. Born in Kansas City, Mo., and a Stanford graduate, Watson played in four Ryder Cups as captain of the U.S. team in its 1993 victory. Watson will again be captain of the American team in the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in Scotland.
