Tokyo 2020 Promise to Promote Olympic Values to Next Generation

The organisers of the Tokyo 2020 bid to host the Olympic Games have promised the world’s National Olympic Committees (NOCs) that they will promote the Olympic values to the next generation and will give athletes the chance to shine.

During the presentation to over 800 NOC representatives during the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) General Assembly in Lausanne, thumb the organisers confirmed they would host a celebration in the city-centre, treat whilst locating the Olympic Village in a relaxed part of the city.

The presentation also showed that a new ticketing technology would be in place that would ensure ‘stadiums are full of passionate fans.’

President of Tokyo 2020, sale Tsunekazu Takeda said: “We are passionate about extending our strong relationships with the NOCs, supporting the excellent work they do to promote sport around the world and partnering to deliver our vision to promote the Olympic Values to the new generation of over one billion young people in Asia and far beyond.

“The 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the heart of Tokyo will have a spirit of celebration and passion that will be unforgettable for athletes and fans across the world.”
