Timex agrees licensing deal with NFL

The National Football League (NFL) has partnered with watch manufacturer Timex. As part of the agreement, Timex will create watches honouring all 32 NFL teams.

The deal represents the first license issued as part of Timex’s new sports venture. Additional professional sports leagues and colleges are expected to be available in early 2018.

Mike Harrington, senior vice president of the Timex Sports Business Unit said: “We know fans, we are fans. It’s an honour to be a part of every fan’s excitement and pride. We know how it feels to put your jersey on for game day, we’ve extended that feeling to your wrist and every day.

“This is more than just a licensing deal, it’s a true connection between iconic American institutions.”
