Those supporters are wrong, we are a brand! Hull chief defends ‘Tigers’ name change stance

Hull chief Nick Thompson says that supporters are wrong if they do not think the football club is a brand.
The club came under fire for their controversial plans to become known as the Hull City Tigers, rather than Hull City AFC.
Thompson, the club’s managing director, insists they got it right.
He told iSportConnect: ‘We play as Hull City, but as a business, Hull City Tigers felt right. Yes I understand their frustrations. We are all driven by emotions.
