Rebecca Hopkins returns for this week’s episode of the Sports Marketing Show on iSportconnect TV, malady with special focus on Real Madrid’s plans to renovate the Santiago Bernabeu, the success of the Super Bowl and Alex Rodriguez’s conflict with Major League Baseball (MLB).
Super Bowl XLVIII was the most watched television programme in US history and Rebecca looks at all of the figures from the big game, plus the advertisements during the Seattle Seahawks’ 43-8 demolition of the Denver Broncos.
Also in this episode is analysis of Real Madrid’s plans to renovate their home ground, the infamous Santiago Bernabeu. The new 80,000 will cost £330m and is expected to enhance the brand’s “global appeal.”
Rebecca who is the Managing Director of ENS Ltd continues in America with Rodriguez’s “embarrassing quarrel with baseball’s drug policy,” which has led to calls for the Joint Drug Agreement to be reopened and negotiate stiffer penalties.
