Chicago Cubs and Under Armour Sign Multi-Year Agreement

Chicago Cubs and Under Armour have reached a naming rights agreement for the Under Armour Performance Centre at new Cubs Park in Mesa, Arizona.
The new multi- year deal will mean that Under Armour will become the third Legacy Partner of the Chicago Cubs, joining Anheuser-Busch and Starwood Hotels.
The new Under Amour Performance Centre currently has the largest most advanced strength and conditioning space in the Cactus League.
Furthermore the new Performance Centre gives players year-round access to elite training equipment as well as a hydrotherapy room, 120-seat theatre, a video room and a cafeteria.
The partnership also enables Under Amour’s advertising rights to outfield signage in Wrigley Field, the second-oldest ballpark in the country.
Cubs Executive Vice President and General Manager Jed Hoyer said: “The Under Armour Performance Centre gives our players the opportunity to train in strength and conditioning facility that rivals any in baseball, we’re thankful to partners like Under Armour who help us bring this vision to life.”
Under Armour Vice President, Brian Cummings commented: “Our mission is to make all athletes better and the new Under Armour Performance Centre at Cubs Park will provide these elite athletes with the training resources and state-of-the-art facilities to help them excel on the field.”
