Telenet Secure Exclusive Premier League Rights

Telenet have been awarded the exclusive broadcast rights to all 380 Barclays Premier League fixtures in Belgium for the seasons 2013/14-2015/16.

Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore said: “We are extremely pleased Telenet has chosen to invest in our broadcast rights for Seasons 2013/14-2015/16.They are a long-term partner of the Premier League and we know they will continue to broadcast the competition to our fans in Belgium in an exciting and innovative manner.”

Ann Caluwaerts, sale Telenet Sr VP Public Affairs & Media Management, added: “Our customers tell us that they enjoy the English Premier League very much. In particular because they can now follow the Belgian players more closely. That is one of the reasons why Telenet made a great effort to retain the broadcasting rights to the Premier League.”
