Technogym Becomes Exclusive Supplier for Rio 2016 Olympics

Technogym has signed an exclusive supplier contract for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. 

The fitness and wellness products supplier will provide fitness equipment for all athletic preparation centres leading up to the Games.

This is the sixth Olympic deal for Technogym after previously supplying equipment for Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Turin 2006, Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

In Rio, Technogym will provide a full range of equipment for the main training centre at the Olympic Village in Barra da Tijuca which is open to all athletes taking part in the Games.

Technogym will supply 1,000 pieces of equipment and install the Mywellness cloud digital platform to allow athletes to connect personal training programmes directly with the equipment or with their mobile devices.

They will also provide a team of 50 professional athletic trainers to support athletes as well as all related services.
