Tanzania Becomes Official Destination Partner of Sunderland

Sunderland have signed another African partnership, ampoule with Tanzania becoming the Premier League club’s Official Destination Partner.
The East African country relies heavily on tourism for their economy and they hope that the partnership with the Black Cats will provide worldwide publicity for them.
Honorable Ambassador Khamis S. Kagasheki, case Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism said: Tanzania is delighted to be partnering with Sunderland AFC in this exciting partnership, asthma promoting Tanzania as a place to visit.
“This partnership will provide an unrivalled opportunity for us to showcase Tanzania to the world.”
Sunderland and Tanzania have previous partnerships, with the club providing technical and practical support to the development of a football academy in the country.
Sunderland chief executive Margaret Byrne, said: “The club is delighted to further strengthen our links with Tanzania with this exciting new partnership. “We are very much looking forward to working with the people of Tanzania to promote their beautiful country to a wider audience and to also support the development of its football infrastructure.”
Sunderland had previously unveiled a deal with Invest in Africa who were named the team’s principal partner and shirt sponsor in June 2012.
