talkSPORT to Continue Broadcasting Premier League Commentary Across Europe

talkSPORT has extended its global audio rights agreement with the Premier League, store meaning they will continue to offer live commentary of matches across Europe.

The deal, which excludes the UK and Ireland, allows for broadcasting in multiple languages outside the European Economic Area, across all 380 Premier League games, for the next three seasons.

New languages for the 2013-14 season include Vietnamese and Bahasa Malay, with more expected to follow.

Scott Taunton, talkSPORT CEO said: “Becoming global audio partner of the Premier League was the biggest development in the history of talkSPORT and having extended our rights to include Europe we are proud to offer a truly worldwide service.”

talkSPORT and the Premier League have had a relationship since 2012 and last season talkSPORT’s website broadcast in English, Spanish and Mandar.
