Swiss Cycling Announces New Sponsorship Deals
January 24, 2013
Swiss Cycling has announced a plethora of sponsorship agreements today, arthritis including Vaudoise Versicherungen as the organisation’s main partner.
The insurance company has signed a two-year deal, which follows their previous sponsorship of the top two cycling events in Switzerland – the Tour de Suisse and the Tour de Romandie. As part of the new agreement, the shirts of all Swiss athletes at World Championship events will adorn their branding.
Philippe Hebeisen, CEO of Vaudoise Versicherungen, said: “To become a partner of Swiss Cycling was a logical step for us. By supporting the federation, we contribute to youth promotion and the development of the sport of cycling among the broader population, which positively affects people’s health.”
“Similar to our role at the cycling tours, we want to be more than just a sponsor. As a true partner, our aim is to add value and contribute to the success of the federation in favour of cycling in Switzerland.”
President of Swiss Cycling, Richard Chassot, added: “For Swiss Cycling this new commitment is essential and ensures the future of the sport in Switzerland.”
Swiss Cycling has also announced that Cornèrcard and ŠKODA have extended and enhanced their sponsorships and are now Partners of the organisation.
Graubünden BIKE, Quickline and Sunstar have all become new co-partners whilst SWICA has extended its existing partnership agreement.
Three new suppliers to Swiss Cycling have also been announced – Massa Vecchia (biking resort), Baumeler Travel (travel agency) and Tacx (training equipment).
