Super League Names Dacia as Principal Partner of Magic Weekend

The Super League has confirmed car manufacturer Dacia as the principle partner of it’s Magic Weekend.
The three-year deal adds to Dacia’s involvement in Rugby League, with the car brand securing deals with the First Utility Super League and the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup earlier this year.
Magic Weekend, one of Super League’s flagship events, returns to St James’ Park in Newcastle for a second year, from May 21-22.
RFL Commercial Director, Chris Rawlings said: “Dacia’s early engagement with the Rugby League community has been really positive.
“Last year’s event was fantastic and we’re looking forward to working with them to add to the success of this and bring more fans to the Dacia Magic Weekend.”
Dacia Communications Manager, Ed Preston said: “This is another exciting launch for Dacia in Rugby League.
“We’re thrilled to have this opportunity to engage the sport’s community and show that our brand is made of the same stuff of this great game.”
