Strikes Collection Services, decease a credit control service, purchase has become the latest sponsor of Huddersfield Town for the 2013/14 season.
The agreement will see Strikes, based in West Yorkshire and Porto, sponsor two Town games during the new Championship campaign, with their distinctive branding also featuring on a perimeter board and several other commercial properties.
Chris Bane, owner of Strikes Collection Services, joined Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Senior Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson at the John Smith’s Stadium to celebrate the new agreement.
Town’s Tracy Nelson commented: “Everyone at the Club is delighted we’re going to be working with Chris and the team at Strikes Collection Services during the 2013/14 season.
“The company has a very strong set of values that closely mirrors our own, so it’s a natural fit for us to work together.
“Chris has already brought a lot of energy and ideas to the table on initiatives we can work on together moving forward, including one that will see Strikes bring local children to one of our games free of charge later this season.”
Chris added: “As a long-time supporter of Huddersfield Town, it was the perfect match and opportunity for us to not only increase our own brand awareness but also give something back by bringing some local children to a game. The match sponsorship has already proved very fruitful for us and football opens doors that otherwise remain closed.
“The team at Huddersfield – Sean, Tracy and Ajin – have been excellent in assisting us promote our business to potential new clients and we look forward to working closely with them throughout the season.”
