Star India Announces Five-Year Deal to Broadcast Bundesliga

Star India has announced a five-year partnership with DFL Sports Enterprises, rx the commercial arm of the Bundesliga, health to broadcast matches in the country.

The contract grants the Indian broadcaster with exclusive media rights across all platforms; TV, cheap internet and mobile.

Star Sports will broadcast Bundesliga matches, featuring the likes of Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich, live or on a delay all across the Indian subcontinent.

“Our partnership with the Bundesliga is in line with our overall strategy to promote football. The Bundesliga is one of the most exciting leagues to watch,” Star India chief operating officer Sanjay Gupta said.
