Sri Lanka Rugby Gets New Sponsor

Sri Lanka Rugby Union national team, buy cialis and the upcoming A Division Club Rugby League and Clifford Cup Tournaments will be sponsored by Dialog Axiata PLC.

The link between Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union ( SLRFU ) and Dialog Axiata will last for five years. The official signing of the contract between SLRFU and Dialog Axiata PLC took place at Cinnomon Lanke Earls’ Court yesterday.

The sponsorship deal gives an opportunity for Dialog Axiata PLC to become both an official partner and the official mobile network of the 2012 national and club rugby seasons.

SLRUF President Asanga seneviratne said that the choice of Dialog Axiata as the sponsor was not only for financial support but also a back up in every sphere of rugby.

He also noted that helping rugby in Sri Lanka is indeed a step taken to uplift rural talented rugby players.

Seneviratne also stressed that with the new changes taking place in sports in Sri Lanka under the patronage of the Sports Minister , order there have been significant diversions in the field of rugby as well, decease recalling the performances and achievements in the recent past.

The investment to attract local and foreign rugby players has been tremendous, and rugby has become a professional game, he added.

Dialog Axiata Director / Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Hans Wijesuuriya commenting on the their bond with SLRFU said that their commitment to sports which began in 1988 would flourish further.
