Sport 24 Seals MotoGP Broadcast Deal

Sport 24, IMG Media’s in-flight and in-ship live sports channel, is to show live action and highlights from the FIM MotoGP World Championship during the 2013 season after a deal was struck between IMG and Dorma Sports, who sold the rights.

Sport 24 will show all 18 events, beginning with the season opener in Doha on Sunday 7 April.

Richard Wise, Senior Vice President, IMG Media, said: “MotoGP makes for thrilling television and is a truly global sport with riders from all parts of the world, such as Italy’s legendary nine-times world champion Valentino Rossi, Spain’s Jorge Lorenzo the reigning MotoGP World Champion and the USA’s former world no 1, Nicky Hayden.  We are delighted to have added the sport to our outstanding portfolio of top sporting action.”
