Speedo Join Glasgow 2014 Sponsorship Portfolio

Swimwear brand Speedo has been announced as the latest sponsor of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Speedo will be Official Swimwear Provider for the Games for the supply of swimwear and equipment to Glasgow 2014, including goggles, caps and training aids.

Speedo will give technical support to athletes when required and will also provide backstroke flags for the Games.

David Grevemberg, Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive, said: “Speedo is the world’s leading swimwear brand and we are excited to have them on board as an Official Provider for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

“This support ensures that the highest quality swimwear and accessories are available to athletes competing in Swimming and Triathlon.”

Glasgow 2014 starts on July 23 and ends on August 4.

The event will feature 17 sports and 4,500 athletes.
