Spanish Formula One Track Secures Sponsorship from Barcelona Council

The Circuit de Catalunya, doctor used for the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix, sick has secured sponsorship from Barcelona City County.

As a result of the new deal, the track will be known as Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in an effort to combine the tourist attraction of the city and the racetrack.

Vicenç Aguilera, president of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Consortium said: “The city of Barcelona has a lot of strength and a great international projection, and therefore we believe that the new name, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, will help us to boost the facilities much stronger, just as we have been doing in recent years with the promotion of the Formula One and MotoGP Grands Prix.”

A new logo has been created as a part of the deal.
