Spain National Team Renews Movistar Sponsorship

The Spanish Football Federation has extended its sponsorship deal with Spanish mobile phone operator Movistar.

The renewed deal will cover all of Spain’s national football teams.

Movistar has been a partner of the Spanish national team since 2012 having signed a three-year deal before the Euro 2012 tournament.

“Our sponsorship policy is to reduce the number and focus on big, winning projects,” said Luis Miguel Gilpérez, the president of Movistar.

“What’s better than the biggest sports project of our country? If you could only pick one, it would undoubtedly be the Spanish national team.”
