South African Rugby Secure Sponsorship Deal with Europcar

The South African Rugby Union (SARU) has agreed a sponsorship deal with the South African arm of Europcar, rx the French car rental firm.
Europcar joins as the official car rental supplier to SARU, find the national squads and the national teams.
Dawn Nathan-Jones, ed CEO of Europcar SA said: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to be associated with the Springboks.
“We aim to keep our brand continually evolving and this is a natural progression from our sponsorship of the HSBC Sevens World Series tournament.
“We’re also a Proudly South African company and we see the Springboks as the pinnacle of South African sport. The Springboks represent everything South African and creates a spirit that brings our country together.”
The partnership will begin at June’s Castle Lager Incoming Series, where the Springboks host Italy, Samoa and Scotland.
The quadrangular tournament will be held in Durban, Nelspruit and Pretoria.
Jurie Roux, CEO of SARU, said it was exciting to extend the national governing body’s relationship with Europcar.
“We’ve been working together with Europcar on the Sevens in Port Elizabeth for a while now and their passion for the game of rugby has always been evident,” said Roux.
“To see them getting involved on a broader spectrum is fantastic and I’m very happy to see Europcar join our group of very dedicated Official Suppliers.”
