Sony Six Secures Indian Euro 2016 Broadcast Rights

Indian sports channel Sony Six has secured the nation’s broadcast rights to all 51 matches of UEFA Euro 2016. 

Euro 2016 is to be held in France and will be the channels first foray into an international football tournament.

For the first time in the history of Europe’s leading international tournament, 24 teams will take part. The European Championships adopted a 16-team format in 1996 to 2012.
