Sony Six Acquire Broadcast Rights to T20 South Africa

Indian television channel Sony Six has secured the South Asian broadcast rights to the 2014-15 domestic T20 Challenge cricket tournament in South Africa.
The tournament will be in its second season and will run from November 2 until December 12.
Sony Six agreed the deal with Twenty20 tournament’s governing body, anabolics Cricket South Africa (CSA).

CSA chief executive Haroon Lorgat said: “South African cricket is currently riding the crest of a wave with our national team, the Proteas, being ranked No 1 in both Test match and ODI cricket.
“The presence of our Proteas plus a galaxy of international stars will add further gloss to a great competition.”
