We at iSportconnect are deeply saddened to announce that Soccerex founder, Duncan Revie, son of former Leeds and England boss Don Revie, has passed away after a short illness, at the age of 62.

He leaves his wife Rita, and two children, Aidan and Natalie.

Leeds United are set to hold a minute’s applause before their game against Barnsley on Saturday, which the Revie family are set to attend, “Leeds United Football Club sends its condolences and support to the Revie family at this difficult time,” they said.

Duncan had been exposed to football from a young age through his father, Don Revie, and read law at Queens College, Cambridge.

He founded Soccerex in 1995 with the intention of connecting the sport industry and enhancing the game’s global commercial potential.

This has come as a tremendous shock to us all. Duncan was revered throughout the global football industry,” said Soccerex chairman, Tony Martin.
