Soccer Channel Manager – Sportradar

Supporting the current Soccer Channel Manager you will be working closely with the Head of Products and Projects as well as the Head of Commercial Development. The Soccer Channel Manager will be responsible for developing dynamic new digital sports solutions centered around our world leading data. You will be both passionate and knowledgeable about all things related to sport including what data points might be combined to form an engaging new statistic for fans, through to possessing strong ideas that translate well into the development of engaging digital products capable of generating strong commercial returns with key customer segments eg broadcast, digital publishers or fantasy sports platforms.


  • Assist in defining the vision, strategy (both product and commercial) and roadmap for all key products related to differing sports
  • Define new and existing soccer data requirements to ensure market leadership Work with the product team to define how the soccer data requirements will be integrated within the analytics layer to create USPs for the digital sports vertical
  • Work with the innovation team to identify brand new opportunities how to present soccer-related data to our key client segments
  • Review and provide recommendations on the enhancement of existing soccer product solutions eg Live Match Tracker and Statistics Centre
  • Play a leading role in the commercial development of all soccer product business cases and product launches
  • Ensure the product roadmap caters for the needs of all key digital customer segments in collaboration with the commercial and sales teams
  • Monitor and report on the success of all Soccer products and use available data to provide recommendations on future product improvements


  • Experience in a related product development or data management role with demonstrable success in using data to deliver client-focused products
  • Deep understanding of the sport of soccer including opportunities and complexities
  • Solid knowledge of Sportradar’s data operations (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the types of digital solutions that resonate with key clients from the media/digital industry
  • Experience in defining requirements and describing user experiences for different client segments
  • Experience in working with both web and mobile platforms
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other European language will be considered as a plus Interest and understanding of the digital sports landscape
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilise cross-functional high performance teams
  • Strong presentation, prioritization and coordination skills
  • Flexible to adapt to changing priorities and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel as required
