Sky Sports Renews US Open & ATP Rights

Sky Sports will continue to air the US Open and ATP World Tour tennis tournaments after signing new three-year and five-year deals respectively.

The deal for the US Open wil begin in autumn and run for three years, ed with exclusive rights to night matches, unhealthy the semi-finals and the final itself.

Sky signed the deal for the US Open with the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

The British broadcaster signed a five-year deal for the ATP series that will allow them to broadcast coverage of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and Masters 500 events, therapy including tournaments in Monte Carlo, Madrid, Miami, Paris, Indian Wells and Shanghai.

The deal will also include the season-ending World Tour Finals at The O2 in London.

“These deals offer Sky Sports viewers the biggest names in tennis in some of the best events,” said Sky Sports’ managing director Barney Francis.

“The agreements underline our unrivalled rights portfolio across six channels and continue a busy period of rights renewals, with over 20 agreements in the last year alone.”
