Sky Italia Acquire EuroBasket Rights

Italian broadcaster Sky Italia has secured the rights to the EuroBasket 2015 men’s and women’s national team basketball competitions.

Sky Italia agreed the deal with basketball’s global governing body, cialis FIBA.

Matteo Mammi, Sky Italia sport rights, programming and production director, said: “Our offer has never been so wide in terms of sport disciplines. Basketball is already a core sport for our channels and no other team can generate more interest around the country than our national teams.”

The men’s EuroBasket 2015 will be held in France, Germany, Croatia and Latvia from September 5-20.

The women’s 2015 equivalent will be held in Hungary and Romania from June 11-28.
