SiriusXM to Broadcast Extensive MLS Playoff Coverage

Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) and Major League Soccer (MLS) have announced a deal that will see the station broadcast extensive coverage of the 2013 MLS playoffs.

Starting with the opening round games on October 30 and 31, click and through the MLS Cup title game on December 7, soccer fans will have access to live play-by-play of matches on SiriusXM’s dedicated soccer channel, SiriusXM FC (channel 94).

In addition to live play-by-play, SiriusXM FC will air MLSsoccer.com’s Extra Time Radio show, covering the world of Major League Soccer and featuring guests from around the soccer scene with hosts Greg Lalas and Nick Firchau.
