Overview:
Tasks:
- Globally lead and steer all football-related activities for NIVEA MEN.
- Provide guidance and consultancy to local teams in successfully activating campaigns.
- Measure, asthma compile and report all football-related activations globally in order to identify best activation practices and to transfer to them to other clubs and regions.
- Collaborate with product and projects teams internally for product-related activations (limited editions, help special editions).
- Steer the development television commercials and digital campaigns in collaboration with countries and the Senior Brand Manager for Global Communication.
- Shape, present and implement a 3-5 years sports sponsorship strategy for NIVEA MEN within the framework of the NIVEA MEN brand strategy.
- Investigate and recommend further opportunities to increase the global footprint of football and other sports for NIVEA MEN.
- Support your Beiersdorf liaison in countries in re-negotiating contracts.
Requirements:
- Several years of managerial experience in football partnerships activations on club, agency or brand sides. Degree in sports management is a plus.
- A passion for football, a strong business sense as well as a profound knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of the commercial side of the football industry.
- Proven successful track record in shaping, managing and maximizing partnerships between a football asset and consumer brands.
- Profound interest in digital with strong digital activation track record.
- A creative mind with a drive to create new ideas, sell them in the organization and put them into practice, working autonomously and strategically.
- Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as outstanding presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- General understanding of markets, sales/distribution, competitor activity and consumer behavior in brand and FMCG contexts.
- Entrepreneurial drive, strong analytical abilities and commercial acumen to understand financial statements.
- Fluency in English; German language skills a plus.
