Selco Builders Renews London Broncos Sponsorship

November 12, 2012

Selco Builders have extended their sponsorship of Rugby League’s London Broncos for a further two years following a successful partnership in 2012.

The new agreement will see London Broncos supporting the Selco business and branch network development plans whilst Selco will support the Club’s drive to increase supporter numbers at the Stoop for the coming season.

This will be achieved through a close alignment of the two companies through joint marketing initiatives and promotions. An important part of the sponsorship is the high quality of the match day hospitality facilities and the match day experience at the Twickenham Stoop stadium in south west London.

Selco will have additional shirt branding and as part of this sponsorship, Siniat, the plaster board supplier to Selco, will also become a shirt sponsor with its logo featured on the back of players’ shirts for the two seasons.

Gus Mackay, Chief Executive at London Broncos, said: “Today’s announcement marks a significant step forward for the club off the field and I’m delighted we have agreed a two year deal with Selco & Siniat. This partnership gives all parties a good opportunity to increase their brand profile across the UK. We very much welcome all the customers and employees to London Broncos over the next two years.

Chris Cunliffe, Selco’s managing director said: “Our initial involvement with the London Broncos at the end of the 2012 season proved to be very successful so it was an easy decision to continue the sponsorship for a further two years. The sport is a great vehicle to increase our brand awareness and we have enjoyed good brand exposure during our seven match sponsorship in the 2012 season.

“Rugby League has an obvious synergy with our business as it is very much focused on team work and being a team player. The sport from top to bottom has a great family feel, which we are now proud to be part of. We look forward to working with the club and the team on a number of initiatives and activities in the coming months.”
