Schalke Unveil New Deal with Coca-Cola

Schalke 04 has agreed a three-year deal with Coca-Cola that will see the soft drinks manufacturer becoming a premium partner of the Bundesliga club.
The agreement will start at the end of the 2013/14 season and will see Coca-Cola serve their products at the Veltins-Arena and receive branding presence inside the stadium.
Schalke’s marketing director Alexander Jobst said: “We are delighted that a global company, and also a global brand like Coca-Cola, binds itself to Schalke 04 for the long-term. For successful activation of this commitment, both sides will cooperate closely in the coming years.”
Torsten Biermann, Coca-Cola’s sales director for the Northwest region, added: “Schalke 04 have gained a strong partner for a long-term cooperation. Schalke, with its fantastic fans and strong football, belongs as a flagship of the German Bundesliga. At the same time our partnership with FC Schalke is an important part of our commitment to the region.”
