Sauber F1 Signs Two New Premium Partners Ahead of Australian GP

The Sauber F1 Team have announced two new commercial deals ahead of the first Formula 1 race of the 2014 season.

Fashion house McGregor has joined as a Premium Partner while real estate developer Pacific Ventures, Dubai has also come on board as a partner.

McGregor has supported Giedo van der Garde as a long-standing partner in the early stages of his career. In addition to this personal relationship, McGregor is now also extending its involvement to the team. 

The McGregor logos will be placed on top of the headrest from the 2014 Australian Grand Prix onwards. From the Malaysian Grand Prix onwards, they will also be present on the overalls and the helmets of the drivers.

Monisha Kaltenborn, Team Principal, commented: “The brand has been supporting Giedo for a long time, and this is how we noticed it in the past. From the first time we got together it was clear that both companies make a perfect fit, therefore, negotiations were short, and we immediately had a good mutual understanding of the partnership.”

The Pacific Ventures partnership will involve the real estate developer’s logo appearing on the rear sidepods of the Sauber C33 and later on the drivers’ overalls. It is the first partnership of the Sauber F1 Team with a brand from the Middle East.
