San Diego Chargers to Relocate to Los Angeles
January 13, 2017
NFL side San Diego Chargers are to relocate to Los Angeles and share a stadium with the LA Rams.
The Rams recently relocated to LA from St Louis, with a new 70,000-seater stadium due to be completed in 2019.
The Chargers will temporarily play at the StubHub Centre, which has a capacity of 30,000.
The club played their first NFL season in 1960 and have played in San Diego since 1961.
The decision to relocate has been strongly criticised by many fans.
