Ronaldinho’s Querétaro Fútbol Club Sign up For Soccerex Americas Forum

Arturo Villanueva, clinic Vice President of Querétaro Futbol Club, rx the club that recently signed the masterful talents of Ronaldinho, medical has confirmed his participation at this month’s Soccerex Americas Forum, 21-22 October, taking place at the renowned Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Barbados.

Villanueva will be joining Philadelphia Union founder, CEO and operating partner Nick Sakiewicz in leading a debate titled ‘The Game of Opportunity’ that will focus on the trials and tribulations of running a professional soccer club with particular focus on the challenges arising in areas such as sponsorship, fan engagement and international expansion. 

Ronaldinho’s transfer to the Mexican top flight in the summer close season has greatly increased the profiles of both Liga MX and Queretaro FC.  The former Ballon D’Or winner was a major coupe for Villanueva’s side that is looking to use their ambitious acquisition as a platform for a more stable future.  Before the Brazilian had even kicked a ball, Queretaro declared that they had already sold out of Ronaldinho replica shirts a feat usually unheard of in the Mexican League. 

With Sakiewicz’s wealth of experience accumulated through twenty years as an MLS executive and founder of the Union, the session promises to provide an exciting angle into the world of club directorship.
