Rome City Council Backs 2024 Olympic Bid

The Rome city council have voted strongly in favour of the city hosting the 2024 Olympic Games.

Paris this week officially launched its bid and Budapest have also received backing from their local council to proceed with a bid. 

They will join Boston and Hamburg, medic who have already lodged their candidacy.
