ROAD TO 2024: Recent Senior Appointments for Los Angeles Bid

LA 2024 have confirmed two senior appointments in key roles to their Olympic and Paralympic bid.

Marla Messing has been appointed Vice President and Executive Director of Sport Leader Relations, while Peter Tomozawa has been named Vice President and Executive Director for Partnerships and Board Relations.

Messing served as Executive Vice President of the 1994 World Cup, before acting as President and CEO of the 1999 Women’s World Cup. Messing was also part of the team behind the inception of Major League Soccer.

Tomozawa, formerly Executive Director of Business Development for Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell, will manage relationships with institutional partners and board members.  Tomozawa previously served as a partner and head of foreign exchange sales at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 17 years.
