ROAD TO 2024: Paris Bid Launches Youth Initiative
February 24, 2017
The City of Paris, the Paris Academy and the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) have launched a new initiative, producing ten measures to promote the passion for sport and the purpose of Olympian ideals to around 275,000 Parisian students.
The ten measures were unveiled on Tuesday to encourage the practice of sport, which Paris 2024 says is a powerful legacy for younger generations.
The city has embraced the ideals of diversity and tolerance in its campaign, and the engagement of youth is considering to be a vital component of the Parisian bid philosophy.
The Hungarian capital of Budapest exited the race to host the 2024 Games earlier this week.
