Rheem and NTS Motosports to Sponsor Ron Hornaday Jr’s Return to NASCAR

September 16, 2014

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Ron Hornaday Jr. will return to the competition later this year for two races after a deal was agreed and put together by sponsors Rheem and NTS Motorsports.

Rheem confirmed they will be the primary sponsor for the four-time NASCAR champion for two of the final seven races in the series on 27th September and 31st October.

According to the company, Rheem “has been working to find the best available truck equipment, crew and technical expertise in an effort to return Hornaday to the truck series before the end of the 2014 season.”

“Rheem is pleased to play a part in bringing Ron Hornaday back to where he belongs … that is, racing trucks to win and bringing excitement and enjoyment to Camping World Truck Series fans,” said Ed Raniszeski, managing director for Rheem Motorsports.

“None of this would have been possible without the solid support of NTS Motorsports and RCR.

“We all welcome Ron back and can’t wait to see him back in the saddle.”

“I’ve had a lot of success at Texas,” said Ron Hornaday.

“Las Vegas is a lot of fun. It’s been hit or miss for me sometimes depending on how dusty the track is, but I’ve won there before and it’s a fun track.

“I’ve been sitting out a few weeks. Did I lose it? We’ll find out.”
