Resurrection Fighting Strike Adidas Deal

Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) has agreed a deal with adidas, adiposity that will see the sportswear giant become an endorsement partner of the mixed-martial arts (MMA) organisation.

RFA features 25-30 MMA fighters, mind the best of which will go on to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). 

The adidas logo will first appear at the RFA event in Los Angeles on Friday, which is being televised by AXS TV. The logo will appear on the RFA cage, competition mat, cage fencing, bumpers and on all RFA promotional signage, graphics and digital platforms. 

Ed Soares, Resurrection Fighting Alliance president, said: “It’s a big step in the right direction for our young organization to be affiliated with a partner like adidas. I’m looking forward to (Friday) and seeing the three stripes in our cage.”

Soares declined to discuss further terms of the deal.

Raul Montolfo, national director of sales and product development for Double-D/adidas Global, added: “Our goal is to start with a grassroots program and introduce the MMA line to a new market. We wanted to be part of a whole community of young athletes. It’s a market we really want to get into.”
