Remondis Acquires Naming Rights to Cronulla Sharks Stadium

Australian Rugby League team, adiposity Cronulla Sharks have announced today international waste solutions and management company Remondis as their new Stadium naming rights partner.
As of this weekend’s game against the Tigers the Sharks home ground will now be known as Remondis Stadium. The Remondis naming rights sponsorship is for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
In recognising the new partnership the NRL home and away draw for the final six rounds which is set to be released today will reflect the new partnership, with Remondis Stadium to be the venue for the Sharks final five home matches of the current season.
As Sharks General Manager of Marketing and Commercial Patrick Woods expressed, the Sharks were excited about welcoming Remondis as a new corporate partner and about the name change for their home ground.
“Remondis are a much respected international company and we are thrilled they have chosen to enter into a partnership with the Sharks,” Mr Woods said. “Remondis Stadium is a huge asset to the Sutherland Shire community and Remondis are very keen to support the region in maintaining this asset.
“With the land development and the excitement around that project Remondis Stadium is set to be not only the home of the Sharks but the centre piece for the Woolooware Bay residential and entertainment precinct,” he added.
In entering into this partnership Remondis have been very impressed with the Sharks Management team and are extremely positive about entering into a corporate partnering with the club.
